"I thought B was supposed to stand for Better, as in, why did we even start with plan A to begin with?!" Kylee replied. "Plan A always seems to fail..."

"We're not with the Mushroom Kingdom. Look. We're wearing Koopa shells."

"Me."

"Koopa Brigade reporting for duty, Mr. Eggplantman. We're here to help with security at the Trial."

"Yes sir! It would be an honor to take you to the trial!"
Then, after thinking about it, he says,
"You know, you almost look like that... Nah, nevermind, lets get going!"

"Hey, can we come too? I just love me a good trial. I could do commentary! Like in sports!"

"So what is a trial anyway? Is it like a sport? Is Peasley playing a sport? That jerk, he is off having fun while we are doing heroic things..."

"Yeah, you guys can all fit in the bed of my truck. I didn't bring most of my tools today because I plan on milking this job for all I can." The Eggplantman looks at the vat of lava and smiles smugly.

"Oh, sport? No, it's more like a performance. All verdicts are already decided in advance, and the trial just shows why. It's really cathartic to see justice served this way!"

Kylee smiled rather innocently. "On Popstar we just send Kirby to serve justice on stuff."

She paused for a moment in thought before adding, "Huh, so a trial is more like a play? I didn't know Peasley was an actor... That jerk, he is off having fun with his acting friends while we are off doing heroic things..."

Puck looks at Captain Falcon. "Can I sit with you in the truck? I don't want to get blown away."

The fairy then addresses Kylee's question. "That would explain a lot actually. The hair, the clothes, the sparkles, the constant posing...hey wait, do you think Peasley was just pretending to be a prince?" Puck lets out an over the top fake gasp.

Kylee gasped. "Oh my God, first he's playing sports, then acting, now he isn't actually a prince! Wait, why are we saving him again?"

"We are not. We are ensuring that justice is served, and served Koopa style. Which is Hot. And also ludicrously overpriced."

When Eggplantman isn't looking Toadette is going to smack Kylie and give her a shush face.

Yellow distracts Eggplantman by asking if he is going to be build a bridge over the lava with a big axe at one end of it.

Kylee shuffled through the emotions of sadness and confusion after Toadette hit her before settling on anger, threatening the small pink mushroom/?koopa with her hammer.

(Edit: I'm actually surprised Eggplantman hasn't caught on yet to how she has been talking about Peasley)

Everyone know of Peasly, until the problems with the Koopa Kingdom he had the most watched show( Prince Peasly and the _____) each week he was somewhere different poking fun, flashing his hair, being dumb...[ Alex I hope this is cannon, if not just scrap it.]

[I suspect if Peasley wanted a show, he could've arranged it, how popular it would be is somewhat more debatable.]

There is a loud whirr as the Eggplantman's crane turns toward Kylee, raised high.
"Listen, I clocked out five minutes ago and don't get paid for injuries after that, so why don't you put the hammer away and we forget about you threatening an officer of the state."

Kylee took a moment to glare at Toadette, as if to imply that if the mushroom tried hitting her again, she would get a face-full of hammer. Putting her hammer away, she turned to face the Eggplantman with an innocent smile.

"Oops, sorry. I keep forgetting that the rules are different here than on Popstar..."

"Pop whatsit now? Ah, never mind, it's a good time for all folk who respect the Koopas now! C'mon"
The Eggplantman heads over to his work truck.
[Now would be the time to say wether or not you are getting in!]

Kylee nodded, following the Eggplantman to his truck.

[Hey Toad is still possessed by the creepy Subcon thing right?]

[As far as you are aware, nothing has changed with Toad's condition.]

[Okay cool]

I am getting into the truck. (play brigade theme) Someone needs to give me a boost.

Kylee helped Toad into the truck. She initially didn't want to do the same for Toadette, but her conscious got the better of her, and she helped Toadette as well.

Black Captain Falcon nods at Puck then climbs onto the truck and sits down.

Puck tucks himself into Captain's scarf, wrapping himself up to keep him warm.

Purple Toad (being the most street) asks Black Falcon to teach him the newest word on the hip-diggity. "Yo, Cap-daddy, I didn't see you was a brother."

The Eggplantman turns on the radio as he drives on.


"You guys are in for a treat! This is the first trial for a lot of you guys, and one of the most high profile ones yet! The lava chamber is a real crowd pleaser!" He excitedly goes on about the theatrics of the event, when the song on the radio is stopped.

"We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast for this important news bulletin: The scheduled trial and execution of war-criminal and Former Prince Peasley has been delayed, as both the lawyers for the defense and prosecution were assasinated about fifteen minutes ago. Preliminary reports say the suspect was clad in all red. King Koopa will make an official statement within the hour."

The Eggplantman lowered his head.

"I guess it's back to work for me then.... Anywhere I can drop you folks off?"

"Aw, I was so looking forward to this 'trial' thingy..." Kylee sighed. "Um, if it is okay with you... Can you drop us off at the courthouse? Or at least in the same town as it?"

(The song was good, but I don't think I got the point of it...   )
